Case Study
Moreton Terrace Activities Centre (MTAC) is constructed under the signature Project Scheme of Wan Chai District. It aims to provide a multi-purpose venue for holding a wide range of community activities in the district.
The MTAC incorporates various green design features, such as fair-faced concrete facades, natural lighting and rainwater harvesting system. The public space located on the ground floor is designed to facilitate interaction with visitors while the rooftop community garden aims to promote greening in the community.
Requirement
Waterproofing is needed to protect the ingress of water to the one level basement due to high water table.
Solution
KMK Krystaline C-S-H Self-Healing Waterproofing Concrete was used to incorporated into the basement slab and wall to form a durable and sustainable waterproofing protection.
