Grand Central in Hong Kong Unveils New and Improved Car Park Space
The Grand Central urban renewal project in Kwun Tong has developed its new car park space. This urban renewal project is a true destination for residents and visitors alike, offering a wide range of amenities and services in a vibrant and dynamic setting. It now features a functional and visually appealing car park space.
KMK Engineering was selected to supply floor coatings for the car park. The team installed a Green Label certified, low VOC, solvent-free, flexible polyurethane coating system on the intermediate decks to provide a colorful, watertight, and hard-wearing surface. On the basement level, slip and chemical-resistant materials were used to control the dissipation of moisture vapour and, ensuring the floor coating remains in good condition for years to come. The materials used in this project was carefully selected to provide a functional and durable solution for the car park space, and is in line with Grand Central’s commitment to providing high-quality and sustainable urban renewal projects.
