In 2023, KMK (Asia) successfully concluded a complex and captivating project at Groundswell, Airside in Hong Kong, showcasing our expertise in challenging environments. The installation of a high-end surf pool on the 6th floor presented unique waterproofing challenges, especially with the surf machine’s control room directly beneath the 5th floor.
To address these requirements effectively, KMK (Asia) implemented the cutting-edge Krystaline C-S-H technology admixture. This advanced solution not only delivered 100% waterproof protection but also bolstered the concrete’s compressive strength and shielded the reinforcing steel from corrosive chlorides. The remarkable self-healing properties of the Krystaline C-S-H Admixture ensured sustained durability, offering continuous safeguarding for the control room and adjacent mall areas, maintaining them impeccably dry and secure.
