Housing Development at Kai Tak Area 1 E1 for the Hong Kong Housing Society
The site is located at Concorde Road, Kai Tak, Hong Kong. This Work is for the Construction of a 3 blocks of 27 storeys high public rental housing residential towers and 2 blocks of 28 storeys high subsidized sales flats residential towers with 5 storeys of shopping podium block and 4 storeys of government, institution or community podium block, recreational facilities, landscape podium garden, elderly centre and 2 storeys of basement carpark.
Requirement
Due to high level of water table at the basement and the requirement to achieve complete water tightness to all of the opening structures including podium, water features, water retaining structures, a leakage free waterproofing system is vital to ensure the concrete structures are free from water ingress.
Solution
KMK Krystaline C-S-H Self-Healing Waterproofing Concrete was used to mix with the concrete to enable the concrete achieve cost effective and complete waterproofing performance.
